Speedflying fields of use:
Unlike modern paragliders, the Bobcat will give you an adrenaline-powered ride down a mountain, following the slopes and ridges. This is due to a lower glide ratio and higher trim speed. You’ll reach the bottom faster, but with a huge grin on your face.

The Bobcat will allow you to take off and fly in a little stronger wind than would be possible with a paraglider. The Bobcat is compact, light and will easily fit in the bottom of an experienced mountaineer’s backpack. A versatile machine
The Griffin has an exceptionally wide certified weight range. Flown in the higher end of the weight range, the wing is truely fast and dynamic and is suitable only for experienced pilots. But flown in the low-end of the weight range, the dynamics are somewhat reduced and the wing is more accessible.
Light but not extreme
The Griffin is one of the lightest wings in its category, and at only 2.1kg easily fits in a 30 litre daysack! Despite the light weight, the main and mid- lines are sheathed for ease of use and durability. Easy-to-handle 12mm Kevlar risers are standard, and lightweight Dyneema riser and soft shackles are available as an option.
Thanks to its compact size and short lines, the Griffin is easy to launch in tricky places and demanding conditions. It has the performance to glide out of tight spots and a good enough sink rate to thermal up when flown at reasonable wing-loadings. The Mirage RS is the next stage in the development of the Mirage, the glider which redefined speedflying when it was introduced. The Mirage RS is aimed at ambitious speedflying-pilots and has a focus on a further increased glide and dive range with increased safety and razor-sharp handling. With its large range, the Mirage RS adjusts to even steep contours, makes precise and more dynamic barrel rolls, has high energy reserves also at very low speeds and we optimized the control for longer and accurate swoop landings.
The RAST technology developed by SWING increases safety during flight, on foot launch and stabilises the canopy appreciably in turbulent conditions. The Mirage RS stands out with its precise and direct handling, greater speed and a touch more glide, but does not in any way sacrifice the very popular Mirage characteristics!

Mirage RS 15
The Mirage RS 15 is the speedflying link to the APUS RS, our paraglider-miniwing. Size-optimised trimming means we have been able to retain the characteristics of the Mirage RS. With a flat wing area of 15.5m², this new size provides the ideal introduction into the world of speedflying. What’s more, it opens up many new opportunities to experienced miniwing pilots as well. The Mirage RS 15 is an all-rounder for almost every occasion, whether it’s for the descent in a hike & fly mission, with fun guaranteed (glider weight 2.8kg), soaring in strong winds or ground handling. The long trim travel offers a huge range with a high resistance to collapses, so the Mirage RS 15 can be flown intuitively along the contours of the land. With a surface area of 15.5 m², it offers a high level of safety and glide performance and greater flexibility in the choice of alpine launch sites. Unlike miniwings with paraglider profiles, the collapse-resistant speedflying profile and short lines make the Mirage RS a true carver, with dive and performance precisely adjusted for safe and uncomplicated mountain swooping. The SPITFIRE has established itself over recent years as the benchmark in speed riding and this glider is an icon in its category. Our development team has been working intensively with the Swing speed flying team on the evolution of the Spitfire1 and has optimized this wing still further.
The result is yet another milestone, the Spitfire2. This is a further commitment to the speed riding community and caters even better for pilot needs.
The Spitfire2 is a true speed rider. It feels completely at home on the snow-covered slopes in mountain regions with its direct and uncompromising handling. The shortened lines and the lightweight construction using the hard-wearing and waterproof-coated 20 dtex fabric transform the pilot and glider into one, allowing complete focus on finding the best line. Once again we have been able to use the control lines and extended trim travel to increase the glide angle window considerably. The result is a new and previously unmatched dive, with almost the same glide as the Mirage. The new Swing Design 2015, 3D seams and a reworked riser with extended trim travel by opening the stitching round off the new Spitfire2 and make it unique in its class.

The Spitfire1 has established clearly that it is a suitable glider for training and beginners so we have completely reworked it in sizes 13 and 15.
The trim travel is ideal for speed riding beginners. The dampened handling in these sizes is perfect for the learning curve and is very forgiving. These two sizes also come in the new design, with lightweight construction and have the new riser with opened seam.

The Rapi-Dos is our highest performance speed wing designed for pilots who seek the ultimate in speed and swoop performance. It has the widest glide performance range of any wing we have ever flown, and handles incredibly steep angles as well as it does flatter-trimmed flight for transporting to different sections of your line, or accessing a distant LZ.
The Rapi-Dos employs a new profile which delivers enhanced stability at low angles of attack. This has allowed an expanded trim range for steep lines and high speed flight. Handling and responsiveness are improved throughout the glide range, thanks to new wingtip shaping and trim. The super low-drag line-plan of the original Rapido has been improved, pushing the top speed and overall efficiency higher. The trim system has been completely upgraded, with expanded range and easier adjustment with brakes in hand. At flat trim, the Rapi-Dos has excellent behavior for foot-launching, with early lift and a direct feel in the first part of the brake range.
The Rapi-Dos is, like its predecessor, is designed for speed riding pilots who already have at least one full season flying a highly loaded lower aspect ratio design, such as the Fazer series. Most of the Rapi-Dos’ features are designed to expand the horizons of an advanced pilot, including its stability in steeper lines, and Its swoop performance.
With sizes from 8m to 15m, we have you covered. The new 15m size is more accessible to a wider range of pilots, and also increases the range of soarable conditions with a speed wing.
Yes it’s faster. It’s the fastest. The Rapi-Dos 9m feels like the original Rapido 6! For me this means that the steeper lines are faster, but I still can trim it out and get further. The launches have been great, and the swoop potential is even bigger. So stoked. -Jamie Lee
The original Rapido was a huge performer and is still an awesome wing compared to anything else out there, but the Rapi-Dos takes the sport to a new level. It is faster and more efficient – those are the things you notice first. What takes a little longer to understand is how awesome this wing is in active air, how precise the handling is, and the swoop landings are even better. Dynamic and speed are doubtlessly fascinating but only if both remain controllable at any time. The SPEEDMASTER3 has a high tolerance area and nevertheless a sensitive handling. Elaborate calculations optimize the stability so you can focus on the perfect line. Through the application of trimmer and brake the gliding angle can be adapted quickly and precisely to the given terrain. Short touch downs are flown just as precisely as quick turns with deep dives. The name of the dynamic wing says it and holds a respectable amount of energy for swooping fans. During the development of the SPEEDMASTER3 special value was placed upon the easy starting behavior - the compact wing starts exceptionally reliable and rises instinctively above the pilot.
While the bigger surface areas are perfect for the first experiments with speed-gliding the glider turns more and more into a profound wing for ambitioned speed-gliding pilots the smaller the size.
