From freestyle to acro
The Gangster’s precise, agile character makes it ideal for freestyle and wagga. Playing with obstacles is effortless and fun, and despite the dynamic feel, the glider retains a comfortable safety margin.
The Gangster is also acro-ready. Brake inputs translate quickly and precisely into motion and all basic acrobatic manoeuvres are possible. SAT’s, helicopters and big wingovers have never been easier. The wing has a clearly defined stall point and a firm brake pressure, which helps you learn the timing for deep stall and helicopters.
From relaxed thermalling to thrilling manoeuvres
While some freestyle gliders can be difficult to thermal, the Gangster has excellent climbing characteristics – you can thermal comfortably all day long. Be free to choose your flying style according to your mood!
When it comes to manoeuvres, the deep stall is easier to achieve and the glider shoots less during recovery. With the Gangster 2, we took the lower sail vents from our acro wing, the Rage, and went a step further. The vents span between the B/C and C/D lines in the centre of the wing. This helps to enhance the internal pressure during negative manoeuvres.
Choose the size that suits your style
The Gangster 2 is available in 2 sizes. Size 22 is certified EN C, whereas the size 20 shares the same essential flying characteristics. Both sizes are load tested (EN 926-1) to over 12g with a load of 120kg. In fact, thanks to the latest state-of-the-art construction techniques, the load test was actually done until 14751N!

The Rage is designed for advanced acro pilots wishing to perform helicopters, infinity tumblings, Rhythmic and McTwists with the maximum amount of power, control and stability. The Rage gives an incomparable feeling of power through the brake handles. It reacts very precisely to brake inputs and recovers easily from stalls and spins. This improves the safety and easiness of heli-connections, giving an overall feeling of efficiency.
The Rage is the product of a long period of constant testing and development by the GIN R&D team pilots.
The first Rage prototypes in 2012 introduced for the first time the “lower sail vents”. The vents are closed when the wing is flying normally, but in a stall, the vents open to increase the internal pressure in the wing. The wing is also highly supported by Rigifoils, which enables the smooth performance of even the most radical manoeuvres. The elliptical planform aids stability during stall manoeuvres.
The Rage dominated the three Acro World Cup competitions in 2013, taking first place in the synchro category in all three competitions.

The Rage is available in 2 sizes. The Rage 17 is aimed at advanced acro pilots and competitors, and the Rage 19.5 is suitable as a first acro wing or acro glider for heavier pilots.

Dynamic and responsive
The wing is dynamic and responsive, designed to be flown at high wing loadings. with excellent performance, stability and a wide speed range. Advanced pilots will appreciate the control options provided by the 2D steering: depending on your speed and the turn you would like to make, you can either pull down the centre of the glider or only the wing tip.
Maximum speed and performance
The Power Attack system, designed for advanced pilots, offers increased speed and responsiveness by combining trim and accelerator actions. With trim open, the RPM power is also boosted, which means more power when you need it and great fuel economy.
Stability and ease-of-use
Take off is surprisingly simple for such an advanced wing, the wing comes up in a progressive manner and the pilot is quickly airborne. The wing is smooth and well-damped in the air, particularly at speed. Landing is similarly easy, and is even controllable on the brakes with trim open.

When I started to fly acro, the right way to learn was to take a low en B and practice the first maneuvers safely with it until you mastered them. Nowadays people tend to try and go too fast to a freestyle or acro wing; doing so, they waste time and lack safety within their acro progression. For several years, I have been advising pilots around the world to learn acro with an "easier" glider. And that is how the idea of the Xstyle came in. An easy, safe and reliable glider with which it is very easy to learn all the easy maneuvers from wing over, stalls, deep stalls to some more technical ones like the helico, tumbling and so on. I have been giving advice on how to learn acro for quite some time now (through tutorials, magazines or on take-off sites) so when we started to work on the Xstyle with the Gradient R&D team I had a pretty clear idea on how the glider should be behaving and what its characteristics should be. The ideas behind the Xstyle was to have a very safe glider which every pilot could fly safely while still being able to give the energy needed for the acro tricks. I tried to put all my knowledge and experience into trimming this glider so it could give the opportunity to every pilot to learn and train acro safely. The Xstyle has a precise but still long brake range, a custom-designed brake setting in order to have easier and more stable helicos and a huge passive safety during all the shoots and collapses that young acro trainees may encounter. I am confident that the Xstyle will be able to put smiles on the face of every pilot and help them go further into their acro career.

CHANGING THE GAME
The JOKER redefines the rules of the game – the principle of pure dynamics brings uncompromising extra power with high rotation speed back to the paragliding acrobatics.
